Membership Types and Subscriptions

At Panmure Yacht and Boating Club, we have a range of membership options.

Single – $325

Family – $358 for Mum, Dad and the whole family

Youth – $130 for those between 18 and 25 years of age

Visitor – Family or Single Visitor for visiting sailors to New Zealand who expect to be members for 6 months or less – subs are pro rated accordingly.

Associate – $179 and Associate Family – $170 for those who live more than 80 km’s from our club rooms.

Social – $130 for someone who wants to be part of the fun and doesn’t have a boat.

Nomination Fee – $100. Applies for all membership types and is to paid with each application. 

How do I become a member?

Your first steps will be to complete the application for membership form and to submit it together with the nomination fee and annual subscription to our clubrooms in Panmure (either by hand, post or by email).

Once we have received your application it will be put before the General Committee for approval (once approved your membership begins and any use of the facilities will be charged at member rates,) after which your details will be placed on our notice board, for a period of 7 days, in order to solicit feedback from our members.

We want it to be as easy as possible for you to settle in, so assuming that you are successful through this process you will be invited to an orientation meeting with the membership committee (normally on a Thursday evening) who will run through important club information and answer any questions that you might have. This is the final step in your application.

We will endeavor to complete your application as quickly as possible but completing all of these steps could take up to 6 weeks.
